The article deals with a complex management of 128 patients who suffered purulent peritonitis. This complex consisted of a two-step washing of abdominal cavity and decompression of small intestine during operation; intra-aortal management of medications, lymphosorption, hyperbaric oxygenation after operation. Number of fatal cases--4.
