Abstract

A rare case of C2 vertebral body metastasis from a parasagittal meningioma is reported. The metastatic lesion was found 13 years after resection of the primary lesion. The primary and the metastatic lesions had a similar and benign histological appearance. Remote metastasis of a meningioma can occur even with a benign histological finding after a variable disease-free period.

报告了1例罕见的矢状窦旁脑膜瘤转移至C2椎体的病例。转移瘤在原发肿瘤切除13年后被发现。原发灶和转移灶具有相似的良性组织学表现。即使在一段长短不一的无病期后组织学表现为良性，脑膜瘤仍可发生远处转移。
