[A comparative analysis of the kinetic characteristics of the oxoglutarate dehydrogenase complex from the human cardiac muscle at different stages of ontogeny].

It is shown that the kinetic parameters of oxoglutarate dehydrogenase complex (OGDC) isolated from the adult and embryonic human heart are significantly different. The results obtained suggest that significant OGDC transformations affecting its structure, as well as its catalytic and regulatory properties, take place during ontogenesis.
