The relation between carotid sinus, aortic and subclavian nervous activities and blood pressure during cardiopulmonary bypass in Rabbits appears to be normal in animals whose maximal arterial pressure is greater than or equal to 90 mmHg. In Rabbits whose maximal arterial pressure is less than 90 mmHg, the activities are generally higher and no positive correlation is found between activities and blood pressure. These high activities are not of chemoceptor or efferent origin. Therefore we assume that these high activities are of baroceptor nature. Their possible origins are discussed.
