[Acute fatty liver of pregnancy: 2 clinical cases].

The clinical evolution and the laboratory pattern of two patients with histopathologically confirmed fatty liver of pregnancy is described. Both babies were delivered vaginally after oxytocic induction and the mothers recovered completely during the puerperium. There was one fetal death in labor secondary to severe abdominal vascular malformation. The other fetus was born healthy.
