A scheme for purification of neutral Mn-dependent chromatin DNAase has been developed. The two-step purification procedure, which includes chromatography on hydroxyapatite and isoelectrofocusing, allows one to obtain preparative amounts of the enzyme having a specific activity of more than 3000 u./mg, molecular mass of 41 kDa and pI of 9.2.
