Abstract
- This article reviews the formation, metabolism and pharmacological actions of the hepoxilins. These are biologically active hydroxy epoxide derivatives of arachidonic acid formed through the 12-lipoxygenase pathway. 2. This review summarizes literature data available at the time of writing of this article.
