[Histological and histochemical studies of the innervation of the teat and the skin of the bovine udder].

The nervous supply of the teat and udder skin of the bovine was examined by means of the AChE-reaction. In comparison to the silver impregnation method, a rich subepidermal fibre-network with intra-epithelial nerve endings and, especially, a strongly developed nerve fibre meshwork associated with muscle fibres was seen.
