Abstract
A serological survey of Toxoplasma antibodies prevalent in rhesus monkeys in India using an indirect haemagglutination test is reported. Of 94 monkeys 56.4 percent were positive to an antibody titre of 1:8 or more, 28.7 percent to a titre of 1.32 or more, while 17 percent showed a positivity level of 1:128 or more. The significance of these findings is discussed.
