Independently of histocompatibility between donors and recipients, delayed type hypersensitivity can be transferred with splenic cells from sensitized animals, inoculated locally in the foot pad. Cyclophosphamide given to recipients 48 hrs. before the cells increases significantly the intensity of the transferred delayed type hypersensitivity.
