Changes in both intracranial and carotid pulsations occurred each time K complexes appeared in the electroencephalogram. This new method for the simultaneous recording of intracranial and carotid pulsations and for correlating them with changes in the EEG will allow further investigation into the origin of intracranial pulsations.
