The authors describe the etiopathogenesis and diagnosis of Diverticuli of the oesophagus. The method of choice in the surgical treatment of this condition is resection of the diverticulum with suturing of the wall of the oesophagus. In cases with small traction -- diverticuli, freeing the wall of the oesophagus or an invagination procedure using a circular suture is sufficient. The authors discuss a series of thirteen such cases, and analyse the anatomophathological forms, clinical pictures, diagnoses, and postoperative results.
