The results of operative treatment of 110 children with congenital hydronephrosis are presented. Conventional surgical treatment was ineffective in 38.5% of the patients. Complex investigation of a function of the kidney involved was performed with the use of computed renangiography. Development and use of segmental-selective resection of a kidney, pyelouretheral segment and renal pelvis permitted to decrease the incidence of unsatisfactory results more than 2-fold.
