Sickness certificates for prolonged recovery terms (by 2.5 months, on the average) were given to 330 tuberculous patients. It is shown that when the disability expert commission fixed prolonged terms for convalescence (10 months and longer) for tuberculous patients, this led to the disease stabilization in 90% of the patients who were able to resume their previous work. Only 10% of them became invalids.
为330名肺结核患者开具了长期康复期（平均延长2.5个月）的病假证明。结果显示，当残疾专家委员会为肺结核患者确定延长康复期（10个月及更长时间）时，这使得90%能够恢复原工作的患者病情得到稳定。其中只有10%的患者成为残疾。
