The most common site of bone metastasis were the vertebral column and pelvic bone. The more advanced clinical stage, the higher metastasis rate. The metastasis rate of nodular-infiltrative tumor was higher than that of exophytic type and ulcerative type 91.78% (67/73) of these patients died within 18 moths of metastasis with a mean survival of 8.9 months. If radiotherapy and chemotherapy were given, the mean survival can prolonged to 12.8 months. The most common route of bone metastasis was via lymphatics.
