Abstract
Echocardiography is an established technology encompassing an increasingly wide variety of clinical situations including cardioembolism and the detection of CAD in patients with cerebral ischemia and in patients undergoing neurovascular surgery. Echocardiography will continue to occupy a pivotal role in clinical management and research in the area of brain heart interaction.
