Abstract
A description of a new tapeworm species, Catenotaenia henttoneni, parasitizing the voles Clethrionomys glareolus and C. rutilus (Arvicolidae) in Finnish Lapland, is given. We show that all Catenotaenia from arvicolid rodents in Europe, usually described as C. cricetorum Kirschenblat, 1949, evidently represent the species C. henttoneni.
