Using the method digital analysis of CT image (ASOT programme) the cerebrospinal brain index was analysed in a group of 78 patients after past craniocerebral trauma. The studied subjects had had craniocerebral trauma complicated with focal brain contusions and intracerebral and paracerebral haematomas, as well as posttraumatic multiple changes. The control group comprised 12 subjects who had had cerebral concussion. A significant statistically increase of the index was found in the groups with past craniocerebral trauma complicated with intracerebral haematoma or multiple posttraumatic lesions.
