Abstract
Lipomas are common soft tissue tumours. Patients are sometimes referred to ultrasound examinations because of diagnostic problems. Nine cases of cytologically or histologically verified subcutaneous lipomas are presented focusing on their sonographic appearances and on the fine-needle biopsy technique.
