Pressure-volume curve is great valuable for the assessment of left ventricular function. Left ventricular volume is measured using echocardiography and left ventricular pressure is simultaneously recorded by catheter tip micromanometer inserted from ascending aorta through aortic valve or from left atrium through mitral valve. Pressure-volume curve throughout the cardiac cycle is plotted by simultaneous pressure and volume simply without damage of heart. It is possible with this technique to construct pressure-volume curve during some beats. Form of pressure-volume curve, Emax, stroke work and contractility index could apparently provide important prognostic information of postoperative patient. Therefore those date could allow to decide prospectively an appropriate surgical method, an adequate postoperative care and a better definition of an optimal time for surgery.
压力-容积曲线对评估左心室功能具有重要价值。使用超声心动图测量左心室容积,并通过从升主动脉经主动脉瓣插入或从左心房经二尖瓣插入的导管尖端微测压计同时记录左心室压力。在不损伤心脏的情况下,通过同步压力和容积绘制整个心动周期的压力-容积曲线。采用这种技术可以在某些心动周期构建压力-容积曲线。压力-容积曲线的形态、最大弹性模量(Emax)、搏功和收缩性指数显然可以为术后患者提供重要的预后信息。因此,这些数据可以前瞻性地帮助确定合适的手术方法、充分的术后护理以及更好地界定最佳手术时机。
