Fine needle aspiration of intramuscular myxoma of the tongue. A case report.

Intramuscular myxoma of the tongue is a rare, benign, mesenchymal neoplasm that has sometimes been found in conjunction with systemic syndromes. We report a case of intramuscular myxoma of the tongue diagnosed by fine needle aspiration cytology and briefly discuss the significance of this lesion.
