Ameloblastomas of the maxilla are uncommon tumors of dental origin that slowly invade and destroy local tissues. A patient with extensive ameloblastoma of the maxilla presenting as a nasal mass is reported, and the clinical features, histopathology, and current treatment of this lesion are discussed. With involvement of the maxillary alveolar ridge and sinus, only radical en bloc resection can be considered appropriate treatment.
上颌骨成釉细胞瘤是罕见的牙源性肿瘤，可缓慢侵犯并破坏局部组织。本文报告了1例以鼻腔肿物为表现的广泛性上颌骨成釉细胞瘤患者，并讨论了该病变的临床特征、组织病理学及当前的治疗方法。鉴于上颌牙槽嵴和鼻窦受累，仅根治性整块切除可被视为合适的治疗方法。
