"Eco-teams" can develop comprehensive waste management programs through implementing a "reduce, reuse, recycle, buy recycled" approach. Serious commitment to such behavior can result in significant savings while reducing dramatically the resources, energy and pollution associated with manufacture and disposal of many items commonly used in healthcare settings.
