The last decade has seen a huge increase in the application of arthroscopic techniques to the shoulder. From early efforts around 1980, arthroscopic shoulder surgeries have become well established and accepted. With the creative development and application of new techniques, the scope of shoulder pathology amenable to arthroscopic treatment continues to expand.
