Although inguinal hernia surgery remains the commonest form of elective intervention, nonetheless there is no consensus as to which are the most important problems in the field. Several challenges await resolution: priorities, operative techniques and outcome, surgical skill, and rehabilitation.
尽管腹股沟疝手术仍是最常见的择期手术形式，但对于该领域中哪些是最重要的问题，尚无共识。有几个挑战亟待解决：优先级、手术技术与结果、手术技巧以及康复。
