Malignant bone tumors (sarcomas) are uncommon but diverse in presentation and biological behavior. Major advances in diagnostic imaging, histologic evaluation, operative strategies, and adjuvant therapies have contributed to limb-sparing surgical procedures and improved patient survival rates.
