The evaluation of 1000 consecutively recorded EOGs showed in 10% of all cases a phenomenon which we called right shifting of the EOG: Dark trough and/or light peak were delayed. In cases of macular disease, atypical pigment degeneration and in control records during Chloroquine therapy we found right shifting more frequent.
