Economy, effectiveness and efficiency in the NHS.

Any body which has been audited must make real and appropriate efforts to ensure that the three Es (economy, efficiency and effectiveness), as assessed by the auditors, are being maintained. This article looks at the importance of consideration of the three Es within the NHS.
