[Experience in eliminating hospital salmonellosis in a large general treatment institution].

The author made a report on the results of epidemic examination of salmonellosis infection in a large medical institution. Peculiarities of the Salmonella typhimurium agent are described, as well as mechanism of transmission and most inflicted groups of patients. The factors which provided for proliferation of salmonellosis are depicted, taking into account the characteristic features of infectious process inside medical establishment.
