The study was carried out on 137 trunks taken from the cadevers of 35 males and 34 females who died between the age of 11 days and 86 years. A great individual variability and asymmetry regarding the thickness of the inferior trunk, number of fascicles, size of their cross-section area and the index of the fascicle's area was shown. The studied features of the trunk, apart from the number of fascicles, underwent big changes in postnatal life, especially between the age of 1 and 14 years.
该研究对取自35名男性和34名女性尸体的137个躯干进行，这些死者年龄在11天至86岁之间。结果显示，在躯干下部厚度、束状肌数量、横截面积大小以及束状肌面积指数方面存在很大的个体差异和不对称性。除束状肌数量外，所研究的躯干特征在出生后尤其是1至14岁之间发生了很大变化。
