Abstract
We report a case of coexisting cutaneous lupus erythematosus and porphyria cutanea tarda in an alcoholic outdoorsman. We discuss the therapeutic dilemmas encountered and eventual treatment approach: sunscreens, topical corticosteroids, alcohol abstinence, and phlebotomy.
