[Present possibilities of surgery in the treatment of metastases in the limbs].

Present-day techniques used in the surgical treatment of bony metastases of the limbs are described in relation to a series of 116 cases. Emphasis is laid on the possibilities of osteosynthesis or preventive arthroplasty.
