[Successful scalp replantation--a case report].

Scalp avulsion is a rare injury. Prior to the introduction of microsurgery, replantation usually resulted in partial or total necrosis. We present the case of a 19-year-old women with a severe scalp avulsion injury. The scalp was successfully replanted. For the relief of pressure to the replanted scalp we used a halo-fixateur externe.
