In 80 patients with complicated clinical course of carcinoma of the left half of the colon the primary restoration of the intestinal continuity was fulfilled (in 47 patients left-side hemicolectomy, in 15 patients subtotal colectomy, in 15 patients-Hartman operations). Postoperative complications were observed in 18 patients (22.5%), 7 patients died (8.8%). Functional long-term results were favorable in most patients. The clinical experience obtained suggests that primary restoration of the intestinal continuity deserves special attention in a number of cases.
在80例左半结肠癌临床病程复杂的患者中，均完成了肠道连续性的一期重建（47例行左侧半结肠切除术，15例行次全结肠切除术，15例行哈特曼手术）。18例患者（22.5%）出现术后并发症，7例患者死亡（8.8%）。大多数患者的长期功能结果良好。所获得的临床经验表明，在一些病例中，肠道连续性的一期重建值得特别关注。
