[The duration of embryogenesis in mosquitoes of the genus Aedes].

The duration of embryogenesis was determined in 12 mono- and polycyclic types of Aedes mosquitos in the mid-Russia and eastern Siberia at laboratory temperatures of 24-25 degrees C. It was ascertained that larval formation in the egg occurred in Aedes communis within 5-8 days, in Ae. cantans within 5-7 days, in Ae.dorsalis within 3-6 days, and in Ae.vexans within 4-6 days.
