We present a single patient with reconstruction of a rectangular defect of 40% of the lower lip and chin. The method used constitutes a modification of the Karapandzic method, with the addition of an advancement of the lateral cheek and remaining chin. The technique restores form, sensation, and function- the principles of a successful reconstruction.
