[Hypospadias--results of correction].

Modern surgical treatment of hypospadias is reviewed. Early microsurgical correction of hypospadias is gaining ground in view of early presentation of the patient; this means minute tissue relations that require very precise reconstruction. The operative correction is described as an example of a complex treatment: psychosexual adjustment, endocrinological development and sexual function must all be taken into increasingly frequent account.
