Rats were administered porridge with pesticide IPO-1250 in doses 50, 200, 800 and 4000 ppm. The animals were killed and subjected to a selective examination. The mass of organs relative to the brain mass was determined and its segments were examined histopathologising. It has been concluded that IPO-1250 affect metabolic processes of rats, a decrease or increase of the inner organs mass. In the examined organs were observed non-specific and generally reversible pathomorphotic changes in the form of circulatory disturbances and regressive changes. The intensity of changes increased typically at the highest applied dose of pesticide = 4000 ppm. The observations allowed to establish the highest dose tolerated by rats which for the preparation IPO-1250 amounts to 800 ppm.
