A 30-year-old man with discordant lymphoma, composing Hodgkin's disease and non-Hodgkin's lymphoma occurring simultaneously in mediastinum, is described. The coexistence of these two diseases is very infrequent and difficult to be treated. It has classically been considered as coincidental. Nevertheless, recent researches have referred the relationship between these two disease and possibility of transformation with each other.
