Anastomoses which include oesophagus are still surgical problem. Anastomotic stricture and leakage are the most frequent. Consecutive 1155 patients operated in I surgical clinic KCS from 1968 to 1994 were analysed. Results reviles that precise technique and surgeon experience ware of the most importance.
