Cutaneous cryptococcosis in a patient receiving chronic immunosuppressive therapy.

Cryptococcosis was diagnosed in an immunosuppressed patient. Topical treatment was ineffective and treatment with oral itraconazole was started. The lesion improved. Liver enzymes were monitored and, although their levels were raised before the start of itraconazole therapy, they did not increase further during treatment.
