Two patients with tuberculous parotitis are described. This condition is rare, and has not previously been recorded in Libya. Unilateral tuberculous parotitis is clinically indistinguishable from a parotid tumour, and imaging techniques may also fail to reveal the true diagnosis. If other features point to tuberculous parotitis, fine needle aspiration allowing bacteriological confirmation is the most useful investigation.
本文描述了两名结核性腮腺炎患者。这种病症较为罕见，此前在利比亚尚无记录。单侧结核性腮腺炎在临床上与腮腺肿瘤难以区分，影像学检查技术也可能无法揭示真实诊断。如果其他特征指向结核性腮腺炎，细针穿刺抽吸并进行细菌学确诊是最有用的检查方法。
