Long-term outcomes of surgical treatment have been analyzed for 204 servicemen admitted to hospital for bilateral tuberculosis in 1975-1990. A complete response was achieved in 191 (93.7%) patients. The recurrence occurred in 13 (6.3%) patients 5-7 years after their discharge from the hospital. All of them received a second course of antituberculous treatment. 98% of the patients resumed the service.
对1975年至1990年间因双侧结核病入院的204名军人的手术治疗长期结果进行了分析。191名（93.7%）患者获得了完全缓解。13名（6.3%）患者在出院5至7年后复发。他们全部接受了第二个抗结核疗程的治疗。98%的患者恢复了服役。
