The author discussed health effects of occupational exposure to local vibration, taking into account classification of a clinical manifestation of vibration syndrome and its symptoms. The principles of subjective and objective evaluations of workers occupationally exposed to mechanical vibrations were laid down as well as conditions for correct diagnosis of vibration syndrome.
