The aim of this study was to evaluate the flow of fluid between closed drains in deep wounds and osteomyelitic and abscess cavities. For the purposes of this study we created a numerical wound model. This model had a symmetric geometrical shape and we simulated flow of fluid between the drains in four variants of distance between these drains. The results of this model showed that the distance often used between drains in clinical practice is not effective. Better drainage could be achieved by spacing the drains more. These results can be used for more functional and better drainage if drains are placed properly in osteomyelitic or wound cavities.
本研究的目的是评估深部伤口、骨髓炎和脓肿腔中封闭引流管之间的液体流动情况。为了本研究的目的,我们创建了一个数值伤口模型。该模型具有对称的几何形状,我们模拟了引流管之间四种不同距离变体情况下的液体流动。该模型的结果表明,临床实践中引流管之间常用的距离效果不佳。增加引流管之间的间距可以实现更好的引流。如果在骨髓炎或伤口腔中正确放置引流管,这些结果可用于实现更有效的引流。
