Bonding to five surfaces using porcelain veneers and porcelain jacket crowns: two case studies.

Until recently, bonding to different surfaces was beyond the reach of dentistry. Proven advances now make bonding to dentin, enamel, metal, composite and porcelain a reality. Porcelain veneers can now be bonded to all surfaces of the hard dentition, and veneers in combination with porcelain jacket crowns are an excellent aesthetic and functional option. These cases illustrate the results that are now possible and within the capabilities of the general practitioner.
