A total of 20 experiments were carried out on 10 dogs to investigate the effect of indomethacin, administered rectally, on the canine lower esophageal sphincter pressure (LESP). Indomethacin increases LESP. Its effect begins 60 minutes after rectal administration and lasts for about 120 minutes. It reaches its highest level 90 minutes after administration. Indomethacin has no effect on the canine fundal or esophageal pressure.
为研究经直肠给予吲哚美辛对犬食管下括约肌压力（LESP）的影响，共对10只犬进行了20项实验。吲哚美辛可增加LESP。其作用在直肠给药60分钟后开始，持续约120分钟。给药90分钟后达到最高水平。吲哚美辛对犬胃底或食管压力无影响。
