Differences between "Intensive" and non-intensive users of computers among hospitals are analyzed using step wise discriminant analysis. Hospitals are classified into "Intensive" and "Nonintensive" users of computers based on the total number of tasks computerized by each hospital. Results show that size, location, and competition from other hospitals in the area, are the significant differences between the two groups. Differences in the computer usage patterns are also examined. Possible reasons for the differences between the two groups are discussed.
运用逐步判别分析方法，对医院中计算机“密集型”用户和非“密集型”用户之间的差异进行了分析。根据每家医院计算机化任务的总数，将医院分为计算机“密集型”用户和“非密集型”用户。结果表明，规模、位置以及该地区其他医院的竞争，是两组之间的显著差异所在。同时还考察了计算机使用模式的差异。并讨论了两组之间存在差异的可能原因。
