[Syndrome of the superior vena cava. (Compilation of the cases of the San Carlos University Clinical Hospital in Madrid in the last 5 years and review of the literature)].

We show in this work the experience of "San Carlos" University Hospital, Madrid, about superior vena cava syndrome in the last 5 years, and we make an intensive review of literature. We have documented 14 cases of superior vena cava syndrome in our Hospital, in patients between 20 and 90 years of age (x: 61 years) and sex distribution of males (42.8%) and females (57.2%).
