The contant of dimethyl-L-arginine in the ultrafiltrate obtained during dialysis session from 30 patients with end-stage renal failure maintaned on chronic hemodialyses was studies. 14 patients were normotensive and 16 were hypertensive. In patients with hypertension dimethyl-L-arginine level was significantly elevated (mean value 7.67 mumol/l), when compared to patients with normal blood pressure (mean value 2.37 mumol/l). Prolongation of the dialysis session is postulated in hypertensive patients.
对30例维持性慢性血液透析的终末期肾衰竭患者在透析过程中获得的超滤液中的二甲基-L-精氨酸含量进行了研究。14例患者血压正常，16例患者高血压。与血压正常的患者（平均值2.37μmol/l）相比，高血压患者的二甲基-L-精氨酸水平显著升高（平均值7.67μmol/l）。推测高血压患者需要延长透析时间。
